The travel bug hit me young and hasn’t let up. 

 

I first visited Europe at age 14. Since then, I’ve traveled to Europe at least 50 times and added a few more continents to my experience repertoire. I’ve been a travel agent, a travel writer, and a tourism consultant and owned a Europe-based bike tour company for nearly 20 years.

For the past several years, I’ve organized charter cruises and other programs for friends and family–most to some of my favorite places and others to places on my bucket list. Either way, I’ve wanted to share my experience with others.

That’s the thought behind Explore with Jim. Each year, I plan a few overseas tour programs and try to organize small groups to join me.

 

Explore with Jim is not even a small commercial operation. I’m retired and do this for the joy of it.
