Daily Program

Starting in the medieval town of Trogir, we voyage south through historic cities like Šibenik, Zadar, Korčula, and Dubrovnik, while stopping at lesser-known gems such as Skradin, Lastovo, and Mljet. Along the way, we explore three national parks (Krka, Telašćica, and Mljet), the iconic Kornati archipelago, and charming villages like Primošten, Zlarin, and Jelsa.  The cruise ends in Dubrovnik, one of Europe’s most celebrated walled cities.

August 15 – Trogir

We begin our adventure in the UNESCO-listed town of Trogir, where medieval walls, cobbled alleys, and Romanesque-Gothic architecture set the tone for the journey ahead. After your individual arrival to Trogir (barely 10 minutes from the Split Airport), you’ll check in (time TBD) on board, and the crew will carry your luggage from the pier to your cabin. After you settle in, we’ll have an introductory meeting followed by a welcome dinner.

image12.png

August 16 – Trogir to Primošten

After a good first night’s sleep on board, we sail south along the Dalmatian coast toward Primošten, a postcard-perfect seaside village perched on a former islet. Along the way, we take a swim break in one of the many hidden bays. Once docked in Primošten, we spend the evening exploring its charming waterfront, relaxing on the beach, and enjoying a peaceful first night on the water.

image13.png

August 17 – Primošten to Skradin to Šibenik

In the morning, we cruise inland up the Krka River to reach Skradin, a quaint riverside town nestled at the entrance to Krka National Park. We explore the park by walking or biking through forested trails, arriving at the impressive Skradinski Buk waterfalls. In the afternoon, we sail back downriver to the coastal city of Šibenik, where we take a guided walking tour or wander the narrow streets of the old town on our own and marvel at the remarkable Cathedral of St. James, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

image5.png

August 18 – Šibenik to Zadar

Today, we continue north along the coastline toward the vibrant city of Zadar. As we sail, we pass scenic islands and dramatic stretches of coastline, stopping for a swim in one of the many secluded coves. Once in Zadar, we’ll take a guided walking tour to explore its Roman ruins, medieval churches, and lively harbor promenade. We make time to visit the unique Sea Organ (above), which plays music through the movement of the waves, and the Sun Salutation, a solar-powered light installation that comes alive at night.

image23.png

August 19 – Zadar to Telašćica

After breakfast, we set off for Telašćica Nature Park (above) on Dugi Otok (below), passing through parts of the Kornati archipelago along the way. We anchor in Telašćica Bay, one of the Adriatic’s most beautiful natural harbors. We spend the day exploring the park’s stunning features—cliffs plunging into the sea, peaceful pine woods, and the mysterious salt lake Mir. In the evening, we take in the serene atmosphere of this untouched natural haven.

image1.png

August 20 – Telašćica to Kornati to Zlarin

We continue our voyage through the spectacular Kornati National Park (above), a maze of over 80 barren yet strikingly beautiful islands and reefs. We swim and snorkel in the turquoise waters and soak in the quiet majesty of this protected seascape. By afternoon, we cruise to the peaceful island of Zlarin (below), known for its traditional coral harvesting and car-free lifestyle. We stroll through its quiet stone streets and enjoy a relaxing evening in this tranquil setting.

image9.png

August 21 – Zlarin to Rogoznica

This morning, we cruise south toward Rogoznica, a sleepy harbor town surrounded by clear waters and rocky shores. Along the way, we pause for a refreshing swim. Once docked, we explore the village or take a walk to the Dragon’s Eye Lake, a unique saltwater lake with legends of sea monsters and ancient mysteries.

image2.png

August 22 – Rogoznica to Jelsa (Hvar Island)

Today we make a longer crossing as we head to Hvar Island, arriving first in the serene town of Jelsa, where Jim spent several months. Surrounded by vineyards and pine forests, Jelsa offers a peaceful contrast to Hvar’s more glamorous side (which we’ll experience tomorrow). If you’re interested Jim can lead you on one of his favorite hikes, and you’ll be able to rent bikes on the spot. We spend the afternoon enjoying the town’s waterfront cafes, visiting a nearby beach, or simply relaxing on board. The peaceful harbor sets the tone for a quiet and restful evening.

image10.png

August 23 – Jelsa to Hvar Town

We make a short cruise down Hvar’s coast to reach Hvar Town, the island’s cultural and social capital. With its grand Venetian fortress, Gothic palaces, and lively piazzas, Hvar offers both history and buzz. We climb to the Spanish Fortress for panoramic views of the Pakleni Islands, take a dip in hidden coves nearby, or explore the local markets and shops. In the evening, after a special chocolate tasting, we may choose to experience Hvar’s renowned nightlife or enjoy dinner under the stars.

image3.png

August 24 – Hvar to Korčula

Leaving Hvar behind, we sail southeast toward the island of Korčula, believed by some to be the birthplace of Marco Polo. After a scenic swim stop en route, we arrive in the fortified old town of Korčula, often called “Little Dubrovnik” for its medieval walls and red-roofed buildings. We take a guided tour along its narrow streets, visit St. Mark’s Cathedral, and have the opportunity to sample local wines in one of the charming konobas before settling in for the night.

image18.png

August 25 – Korčula to Lastovo

This morning, we head far off the beaten path to Lastovo, one of Croatia’s most remote and least developed islands. Protected in its entirety as a nature park, Lastovo offers pristine landscapes, thick forests, and a sense of timeless peace. We spend the day swimming in quiet bays, hiking to scenic viewpoints, or exploring the old village with its distinctive chimneys and stone houses. At night, with minimal light pollution, we enjoy a spectacular display of stars overhead.

image14.png

August 26 – Lastovo to Mljet

Today we cruise to remote Mljet, another gem of the Adriatic and home to a lush national park. We plan to anchor near Polace or Pomena, where we can rent bikes or kayaks to explore the two saltwater lakes—Veliko Jezero and Malo Jezero—and visit the islet of St. Mary, which holds a 12th-century Benedictine monastery. Surrounded by forest and silence, Mljet offers one of the most serene and natural settings of the entire journey.

image4.png

August 27 – Mljet to Dubrovnik (Gruž Port)

On our final full day, we cruise south past the Elaphiti Islands, stopping for one last swim in a beautiful bay. By afternoon, we enter the port of Gruž in Dubrovnik, where we take a guided tour and spend our final evening exploring the legendary Old Town, enclosed by massive stone walls. We walk the ramparts, admire the baroque architecture, and maybe toast the journey with dinner overlooking the Adriatic. Dubrovnik’s cinematic beauty provides a grand finale to our island odyssey.
